Sawston Village College

Sawston Village College was the first of the village colleges. It was opened in 1930 by a rather grumpy Prince of Wales who had been under the impression he was coming to open a new Cambridge university college. Henry Morris’ legacy is commemorated around the college more than 90 years since his vision for village colleges began to take form.
