The village college concept was adopted and embraced outside the area within Henry Morris’ lifetime with colleges opening in Glinton near Peterborough, Gamlingay and Sawtry. Further afield, the concept was adopted by counties including Leicestershire, Cumbria, Somerset and Derbyshire.
